Backup Manager
Easy, secure backup for your peace of mind
Windows-compatible software to backup data from a PC’s internal hard drive to the External Hard Drive.
Data on an internal hard drive can be periodically (automatically) backed up to your External Hard Drive. By recognizing/backing up only modified/added data for minimizing necessary capacity, the time will be reduced. (Incremental backup method).
*Note:“Favorite“ of Microsoft Edge will not be backed up by this software.
Backup Manager 2
Ensure your data is always backup
1. When External Hard Drive is not connected,
Backup Manager 2 (BM2) will backup PC's data to cloud storage in real-time if cloud service is available. (Temporary Backup)
2. If the cloud storage is full, BM2 will notify you.
When the External Hard Drive is re-connected, BM2 moves the temporary backup data to the External Hard Drive.
*(Note: When External Hard Drive is connected to PC,
BM2 will directly backup PC data to External Hard Drive.)
* To enable "Hybrid Backup Function", you need to have an account with a (3rd-party) cloud storage service in advance. Examples:
- Dropbox ( Recommended. BM2 can directly backup to Dropbox )
- Other cloud storage service ( You need to install their synchronization software on same PC to have BM2 indirectly backup data to the cloud )
* Please note that 3rd-party cloud services may change or end without notice. Sony is not liable for any loss of data.
* If both cloud storage and External Hard Drive are disconnected, BM2 will wait for re-connection to backup.

FAT32 Formatter
